Tyre change at your home, villa or office car park
Here is what actually happens when a technician changes your tyres where you live or work, from the WhatsApp message to the old tyres leaving with the van.
- About 45 minutes on site
- Villa, tower or office
- AED 100 per visit
Tyre change at home
The short answer
A tyre change at home with 800 Tyres costs AED 100 per visit, plus the price of any new tyres. The technician arrives at your villa, apartment car park, basement or office with all equipment, and a set of four usually takes about 45 minutes on site. We work 24 hours a day in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
What happens, step by step
- You message us. Send your location, a photo of the tyre size on the sidewall and a rough time window. If it is a basement, add the level and bay number.
- We quote. You get two or three tyre options with a total price, including the AED 100 fitting visit. Nothing is loaded until you choose.
- The van arrives. Average arrival is about 30 minutes in Dubai and 40 in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, or at the time you booked.
- You see the tyres first. The technician shows you the new tyres and their DOT date before touching the car.
- The work. The car is lifted on a low-profile jack, each wheel comes off, and the old tyre is removed and the new one mounted on the van's tyre changer with a new valve.
- Balancing. Each wheel is balanced on the van's balancer.
- Refitting. Wheels go back on and are tightened with a torque wrench to your car maker's figure. Pressures are set to the door-placard values.
- Clean-up. Old tyres, weights and packaging go in the van for recycling. You pay by card, cash, Tabby or Tamara.
A full set of four on a typical sedan takes about 45 minutes. A Patrol on 20-inch wheels or a car with locking nuts takes a little longer.
A few minutes of preparation shortens the visit. Leave the locking wheel-nut key in an obvious place, usually the glovebox or the spare-wheel well. Clear anything heavy from the boot if the spare or new tyres need to go in. If the car is parked nose-in against a wall, move it so we can reach all four wheels, or tell us and we will plan around it. On hot summer afternoons, morning or evening appointments are more comfortable for everyone, and pressures set on a cool tyre are more accurate.
At a villa
Villas are the easiest jobs. We work on the driveway or the street outside, ideally on level ground in shade. In Arabian Ranches, The Springs, Mirdif or Khalifa City, the van parks behind the car and the work is done without blocking neighbours. If you are not home, leave the key with someone, tell us where the locking-nut key is, and we can do the job and send photos.
At an apartment tower or basement
Most of our Dubai Marina, JLT, Business Bay and Downtown jobs happen in residential basements. A few things make them go smoothly:
- Clearance: our vans fit most basements; if your ramp is marked below 2.1 m, tell us and we bring a smaller vehicle setup.
- Access: register the van with security or send us the visitor-parking instructions. Some buildings in Business Bay need a gate pass.
- Signal: basements often have no mobile coverage. Send your bay number before we arrive so the technician can find the car.
- Space: we need about a metre around the wheels. Tandem bays are fine as long as we can reach both sides.
Parking and building rules
Some communities and towers restrict car repairs in parking areas. A tyre change is usually allowed because it is quick and leaves nothing behind — no oil, no fluids, and the old tyres leave with us. If your building management asks, tell them it is a mobile tyre service using battery tools with all waste removed. If repairs are not allowed in your bay, we can do the job in visitor parking or on the street outside, where parking rules permit.
At the office
Office car parks in Dubai Internet City, Al Quoz, DIFC and Mussafah are some of our most efficient jobs: you hand over the key at the lobby, go back to your desk and get a WhatsApp message when it is done. Fleet managers often book several cars in one visit.
This page and our tyre change service page
This page is about doing it where you are. If you want detail on the job itself — torque figures, valve types, how we handle TPMS sensors — read the tyre change service page. If you are choosing tyres first, the tyre size guide helps you read the numbers on your sidewall.
What you pay
AED 100 per visit for the fitting, whether that is one tyre or four on a standard car. New tyres are added at their price: from AED 150 each for economy sedan sizes, AED 250 mid-range and AED 400 premium. Rotation is free on any fitting visit, and there is no extra charge for coming to your home, or for coming at night.

What UAE drivers say
-
Khalid Al Mansoori MirdifFlat tyre on the Patrol at 11 pm outside the house. Technician was there in 35 minutes, had the right 20-inch tyre in the van and finished in half an hour. Price was exactly what they told me on WhatsApp.
-
Priya Raman JLTBooked a set of four Michelins for my CR-V. They fitted them in the basement of my building while I was on calls. Showed me the manufacture date on each tyre before fitting, which nobody has ever done for me.
-
Mark Dela Cruz Al Nahda, SharjahScrew in my tyre on a Friday morning. They plugged it in the car park, checked the other three and set the pressures. AED 80, done in 20 minutes.
-
Sarah Whitfield Arabian RanchesPaid with Tabby for new tyres on the Range Rover — split into four, no interest. The guy was careful with the wheels and left the driveway cleaner than he found it.
Common questions
Common questions
Do I need to be at home for the tyre change?
No. As long as someone can hand over the key and we can reach the car, we can complete the job and send you photos and the receipt on WhatsApp.
Will my building allow a tyre change in the basement?
Most towers in Dubai do, because there are no fluids and we remove all waste. If yours does not, we can work in visitor parking or on the street.
How much space do you need around the car?
About a metre around each wheel and enough room to lift the car. Tandem bays work if we can reach both sides of the car.
Is a tyre change at home more expensive than at a shop?
No. It is AED 100 per visit with no call-out fee, and tyre prices are the same as at a shop.
Flat tyre? A technician can be on the way in minutes.
Send your location and a photo of the tyre sidewall. We'll confirm the price and arrival time straight away — 24 hours a day.
