Tyre shop near me

The short answer

The closest tyre shop to you is an 800 Tyres van, which arrives in about 30 minutes on average in Dubai and about 40 minutes in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The technician changes, repairs or replaces tyres where the car is parked, with fitting from AED 100 per visit. We work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at the same price day and night.

Why the nearest tyre shop is a van

Search for a tyre shop near you in Dubai and the map fills with pins in Al Quoz, Ras Al Khor and Deira. The pin looks close, but getting there means driving on a flat or a slow puncture, queueing behind three other cars and waiting while the shop hunts for your size. If the tyre is already flat, you cannot drive there at all.

We turned that around. Each 800 Tyres van carries a tyre changer, a wheel balancer, a compressor, nitrogen, a torque wrench and a stock of the common sizes for cars like the Nissan Sunny, Toyota Corolla, Camry and RAV4. The workshop comes to the villa driveway, the office car park, the tower basement or the hard shoulder. Your distance to the shop stops mattering because the shop covers it.

How long it takes to reach you

Arrival times are averages and depend on traffic, the hour and how many jobs are open. These are the figures we work to:

Where your car isAverage arrivalAreas we visit most
DubaiAbout 30 minutesDubai Marina, JLT, Business Bay, Al Barsha, Jumeirah, Deira, Al Quoz, Dubai Silicon Oasis, International City
SharjahAbout 40 minutesAl Nahda, Al Taawun, Muwaileh
Abu DhabiAbout 40 minutesMussafah, Khalifa City, Yas Island, Al Reem Island

Late at night the roads are clearer and we are often quicker. During the 7–9 am and 5–8 pm rush on Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Ittihad Road, expect the upper end. The dispatcher gives you a realistic time when you book, not a promise we cannot keep. Area-specific details are on the Dubai coverage page and the pages for Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

What the technician can do on the spot

Most of what a roadside tyre shop does fits inside the van. Prices are starting prices in AED and you get the exact figure on WhatsApp before anyone sets off.

  • Tyre change or fitting — AED 100 per visit.
  • Flat tyre call-out — AED 100, including fitting your spare or a new tyre.
  • Puncture repair — from AED 80 for a plug-patch on a tread-area puncture.
  • New tyres — from AED 150 per tyre for economy sedan sizes, AED 250 mid-range, AED 400 premium.
  • Wheel balancing — AED 25 per wheel, done on the van's balancer.
  • TPMS sensor — from AED 150 including programming.
  • Tyre rotation — free with any fitting visit.

When you would rather visit a workshop

Two jobs need a fixed bay: wheel alignment, which needs a four-wheel alignment rig, and rim repair, which needs a lathe and paint booth. For those we book you into a partner workshop at our published price — alignment from AED 99 for a sedan and AED 149 for an SUV, cosmetic rim repair from AED 150 per wheel. You know the price before you drive in, which is not how walk-in tyre shops usually work.

What to check at any tyre shop near you

Whoever you use, a few checks separate a good tyre shop from a fast one:

  • They show you the DOT date on the sidewall before fitting. In the UAE a tyre is valid for five years from that date, used or not.
  • They tighten wheel nuts with a torque wrench to the car maker's figure, not only with an impact gun.
  • They give a total price including fitting, balancing and valves before starting.
  • They take the old tyres away for recycling rather than leaving them in your parking bay.

We do all four on every job, which is part of why we sit at 4.9 on Google from 8,640 reviews since 2016.

Booking the closest technician

Send your live location on WhatsApp with a photo of the tyre size on the sidewall, for example 205/55 R16. If you are in a basement, add the level and bay number. We reply with prices, pick the van closest to you and share the technician's details. Pay after the job by card, cash, Tabby or Tamara.

What kind of tyre problem you have

It helps the dispatcher to know roughly what is wrong, because it decides what goes on the van. A tyre that has gone completely flat overnight usually means a nail or a leaking valve. A tyre that loses a few psi a week is often a slow puncture or a corroded rim edge. A bulge on the sidewall, or cords showing on the shoulder, means the tyre is finished and a replacement needs to be loaded. If your dashboard shows a pressure warning but all four tyres look normal, it may be a cool morning, a slow leak or a failed sensor. A ten-second video of the tyre on WhatsApp usually answers the question before the van leaves, and it means the technician arrives with the right tyre rather than making a second trip.

Flat tyre on the Patrol at 11 pm outside the house. Technician was there in 35 minutes, had the right 20-inch tyre in the van and finished in half an hour. Price was exactly what they told me on WhatsApp.

Booked a set of four Michelins for my CR-V. They fitted them in the basement of my building while I was on calls. Showed me the manufacture date on each tyre before fitting, which nobody has ever done for me.

Screw in my tyre on a Friday morning. They plugged it in the car park, checked the other three and set the pressures. AED 80, done in 20 minutes.

Paid with Tabby for new tyres on the Range Rover — split into four, no interest. The guy was careful with the wheels and left the driveway cleaner than he found it.
