Tyre prices UAE

The short answer

Car tyre prices in the UAE start at about AED 150 per tyre for economy sedan sizes, AED 250 for mid-range, AED 400 for premium brands and AED 500 for run-flats. Fitting with 800 Tyres is AED 100 per visit on top, so four economy tyres for a Corolla start at about AED 700 fitted at your door. Larger SUV and performance sizes cost more.

UAE tyre prices by tier

Tyre prices are set mainly by two things: the size and the brand tier. These are our starting prices per tyre, before the AED 100 fitting visit.

TierPrice per tyre from (AED)BrandsTypical cars
Economy150Zeetex, Triangle, GT Radial, NexenSunny, Yaris, Attrage, Picanto
Mid-range250Hankook, Kumho, Yokohama, Toyo, Falken, Maxxis, Cooper, FirestoneCorolla, Civic, Camry, Elantra, RAV4
Premium400Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli, Goodyear, DunlopAccord, Lexus ES, Tesla Model 3, BMW 3 Series
Run-flat500Bridgestone, Pirelli, Continental, Michelin, GoodyearBMW X5, BMW 5 Series, Mini

The "from" figure is for the smallest common size in each tier. A premium 21-inch tyre for a Range Rover or a 20-inch all-terrain for a Patrol costs several times the entry price.

Working out the total

To estimate a full set, multiply the tyre price by four and add the AED 100 fitting visit:

  • Four economy tyres for a Nissan Sunny: from AED 600 + AED 100 = from AED 700.
  • Four mid-range tyres for a Camry: from AED 1,000 + AED 100 = from AED 1,100.
  • Four premium tyres: from AED 1,600 + AED 100 = from AED 1,700.

With a set of four, balancing, nitrogen and old-tyre disposal are included, and rotation is free on any fitting visit. Tabby and Tamara can split the total into four interest-free payments.

What makes one tyre cost more than another

  • Rim size. Every extra inch adds material and cost. A 16-inch Corolla tyre and a 19-inch tyre for the same model can differ by hundreds of dirhams.
  • Load and speed rating. A heavy SUV needs a higher load index, and a performance car needs a W or Y speed rating. Both cost more to build.
  • Construction. Run-flats have reinforced sidewalls; all-terrain 4x4 tyres have thicker, deeper tread.
  • Brand tier. Premium brands put more into compound and testing. On a family SUV at 120 km/h in 45 °C, that shows up in braking distance and heat resistance.
  • Age of stock. A low price can mean a tyre that has been in a warehouse for years. In the UAE a tyre is valid for five years from its DOT date, so a three-year-old tyre has two years of legal life left. We show the DOT date before fitting.

Prices for specific brands

Many people search for one brand's price — Bridgestone or Michelin tyre price in the UAE, for example. Brand prices vary with size and pattern, so the reliable way is to send us your size and ask for that brand. Our tyre brands guide lists all 20 brands we stock and where each sits on price. For a Bridgestone quote, the Bridgestone page shows the patterns we carry.

How to read a tyre quote

When comparing quotes, check whether each figure includes:

  1. Fitting and balancing for all four wheels.
  2. New valves.
  3. Disposal of old tyres.
  4. VAT.
  5. Delivery to your location, or the cost of your time driving to a shop.

A tyre that is AED 30 cheaper per piece can end up more expensive once those are added. Our WhatsApp quote lists the total so you can compare like for like, and the price we quote is the price the technician charges on the day, at any hour.

Find your size first

You cannot get an accurate price without the exact size. It is on the tyre's sidewall, like 225/65 R17 102H, and on the sticker in the driver's door frame. Our guide to reading tyre sizes explains each part. Send a photo of it and we will price two or three options for your car.

When a cheaper tyre is a sensible choice

Paying more is not always the right answer. On a light city car that covers 10,000 km a year, a new economy tyre with a recent DOT date will often reach its five-year age limit before it wears out, so a premium tyre's extra tread life is never used. On a heavy SUV, a car regularly driven at highway speed between emirates, or a performance car, the gap in braking, heat resistance and load capacity matters more. Our guide to cheap tyres in Dubai covers where budget tyres make sense.

Flat tyre on the Patrol at 11 pm outside the house. Technician was there in 35 minutes, had the right 20-inch tyre in the van and finished in half an hour. Price was exactly what they told me on WhatsApp.

Booked a set of four Michelins for my CR-V. They fitted them in the basement of my building while I was on calls. Showed me the manufacture date on each tyre before fitting, which nobody has ever done for me.

Screw in my tyre on a Friday morning. They plugged it in the car park, checked the other three and set the pressures. AED 80, done in 20 minutes.

Paid with Tabby for new tyres on the Range Rover — split into four, no interest. The guy was careful with the wheels and left the driveway cleaner than he found it.
