New tyres

The short answer

New car tyres in Dubai start from about AED 150 per tyre fitted for 14–15 inch economy sizes. We stock more than 20 brands, from Zeetex and Triangle up to Michelin and Pirelli, all manufactured within the last 12 months. Pick your tyres on WhatsApp and we deliver and fit them at your location the same day, and you can split the payment with Tabby or Tamara.

How to choose new tyres for UAE roads

Start with the size on your current sidewall — it's the only thing that must match. After that, the three things that matter most for driving in the Emirates are:

  • Heat resistance. Look for a temperature grade of A in the UTQG marking and a speed index that comfortably exceeds how you drive — H (210 km/h) or V (240 km/h) for most sedans.
  • Load index for SUVs. A loaded Land Cruiser or Patrol on a hot highway needs the full load rating. Never fit a lower load index than the placard says.
  • Noise and comfort. Long commutes on concrete sections of Emirates Road are noisy. Touring tyres like the Michelin Primacy, Bridgestone Turanza or Continental UltraContact are noticeably quieter than sporty patterns.

Economy, mid-range or premium

Economy tyres (Zeetex, Triangle, Roadstone, Otani) are fine for city driving in small cars and cost roughly half the premium price. Mid-range Korean and Japanese brands (Hankook, Kumho, Yokohama, Toyo, Nexen) are where most of our customers land — strong wet braking for occasional rain, good wear in heat, and sensible prices. Premium tyres (Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli, Goodyear) earn their price on heavy SUVs, performance cars and anything that spends a lot of time at highway speed.

Why tyre age matters more here

A tyre stored in an un-air-conditioned warehouse in Jebel Ali for two years is not the same as a fresh one, even if it's never been fitted. We only supply stock made in the last 12 months and show you the DOT code. Be wary of "new" tyres offered at prices that look too good — they're often old stock.

Paying for new tyres

A full set of SUV tyres can cost AED 2,000–4,000. You can pay by card or cash on completion, or split the total into four interest-free payments with Tabby or Tamara — the first payment is taken at fitting and the rest monthly.

Flat tyre on the Patrol at 11 pm outside the house. Technician was there in 35 minutes, had the right 20-inch tyre in the van and finished in half an hour. Price was exactly what they told me on WhatsApp.

Booked a set of four Michelins for my CR-V. They fitted them in the basement of my building while I was on calls. Showed me the manufacture date on each tyre before fitting, which nobody has ever done for me.

Screw in my tyre on a Friday morning. They plugged it in the car park, checked the other three and set the pressures. AED 80, done in 20 minutes.

Paid with Tabby for new tyres on the Range Rover — split into four, no interest. The guy was careful with the wheels and left the driveway cleaner than he found it.
